Art + Illustration

Journal

My journey as an artist chronicled in life events, thoughts, and musings.

WIP

I mentioned about working on a brand illustration project a while back. The work is for a beauty brand, and their brief was to create a watercolor illustration of a room filled with beauty products, to be applied on one of their packaging. Post-workshop wrap-up

I conducted my second floral watercolor illustration workshop last weekend! While planning for the session, I thought of holding the class in the morning (compared to the first, which I conducted in the afternoon). I wanted to see if I could take advantage of the morning light that generously filled up the space. As predicted, everything felt so much lighter, warmer, and easier on the eyes. We were lucky it didn't rain, either!

Please expect an informal, intimate, hands-on class. I will be teaching basic drawing and watercolor painting techniques, with a focus on flowers. I will also be touching on basic color theory and composition.
