Website refresh!

Hello, everyone! After a couple of years left untouched, my website has been updated with new content and a new look!

This is also my very first blog post since 2016.

I've been working hard over the past two weeks to spruce up this space. It isn't too far from the previous design, but it was time for a long-overdue visual update. I'm really happy because I disciplined myself and devoted time to this. I needed to place my website under private mode during this time, and took down works that were either too old and outdated, or just no longer reflects my present style. Design-wise, I made sure to keep the overall layout clean and simple, and picked out fonts that were easy on the eyes. I also resolved some back-end issues to ensure my website would be secure for visitors.

Fixing my website was a chance for me to look back on everything I'd done in previous years, and to track my progress. I'm glad to say that I think I've been doing well, though things could definitely be better. I'm still at the point where I don't share my work as frequently as I'd like. I don't want to pressure myself, but I know I can still form better work habits, so I can achieve more of my goals earlier (and reach more people with my work). All in a healthy, mindful way, of course.

This latest update also comes at the same time I return to Instagram, which I've been away from for six months now. A little more on that in my next post.
