I'll always remember the latter part of 2014 (yup, a couple years ago) as a busy and exciting time for me. It was then that I first ventured into producing a small line of paper goods. January, February, lately

January moved along at a snail's pace. Things were happy and pleasant for the most part, then—just as soon as people were getting back to their workdesks—we had another long vacation, thanks to Pope Francis' Philippine visit, which also came right before a scheduled family trip. Not complaining there, but it definitely slowed things down. I had some time to evaluate myself, and I struggled, coming from a period of very little work activity from December all the way to the end of January.

Hello, 2015!

Happy New Year, everybody!!! I've not had the chance to return to this space, and write decent blog entries in a very long time, and I apologize for the lack of commitment. That said, I'm quite refreshed, motivated, and inspired to start anew! 2014 was an especially busy year for me, and in a very good way. Everything had its own challenges and I believe I was able to take these on with hard work, an open mind, and an open heart.

Heima Paper Stories

To this day, Heima occupies a warm, fuzzy, happy spot in my heart. I still clearly remember four years ago, when Heima introduced an incredibly new yet beautiful concept right in the heart of Cubao X. I was lucky to witness them grow from a small shop into a full lifestyle concept. Soon after leaving the corporate world, Heima became one of my go-to places for pretty things, feel-good inspiration, and cool people to hang out (and even collaborate) with.

Pop-up at Heima Paper Stories

Hello! I'm part of Paper Stories: A Paper Club Bazaar, happening  today at Heima Brixton! Lots of paper goodness (and more) for everyone! I'll be joining Tit for tat, Lunchbreak Project, Sunday Paper Co., Craft Carrot, Monsterella, and The Bekiry! There will also be a calligraphy session with Anina Rubio at 10:30am, and I'll be doing a watercolor demo at 1pm. See you there!
